The name or term "Thundercracker" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Thundercracker (disambiguation).
The Thundercracker drones are Decepticon clones from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Thundercracker drones are the troops of Thundercracker, and, like him, are cloned from the Decepticon of the same name. Linked to their master via a cortical network, they can receive their orders wordlessly, although this connection can become disrupted, leaving them to act independently.

Like Thundercracker, the drones will readily use fear tactics to intimidate their foes, but unlike him, they have no qualms with terrifying innocent bystanders too.

Numerous Thundercracker drones were out investigating an incursion in their territory when they encountered several Empties which had wandered out from the Rad Zone... and soon discovered that the Empties were actually a rebel cell led by Obsidian and consisting of Strika, Hoist, Sandstorm, and Octane. The Thundercracker drones were quickly defeated. Termination A number of Thundercracker drones were later present for the final confrontation between the resistance and Jhiaxus's forces. One was punched in the face by Nacelle at the space bridge complex, whilst several more were taken out by Strika and Octane. A Common Foe

[edit]
  • The drones' design (at right) in the Wings Universe comics, based on the original Machine Wars Thundercracker toy, was previously created by Josh Burcham for a fan project.
