[edit]Ratchet convinced Megatron to leave the Ark and allow him to tend to the wounded Autobots captured therein, on the condition that Ratchet defeat Shockwave. To seal this deal, Ratchet and Megatron participated in the Rite of Oneness. Warrior School!
In response to images that purported to show the Dinobots defeating Shockwave, Megatron revealed to Ratchet that he had no intention of honoring the Rite. This freed Ratchet to ambush Megatron. Repeat Performance!
