Kidrobot is an American producer and retailer of designer toys, founded in 2002. In late 2017, the company released a line of merchandise based on the art of Tom Scioli's Transformers vs. G.I. Joe.

Merchandise

Aside from the skateboard decks, merchandise in the Transformers vs. G.I. Joe line featured consistent designs across each "series"– to pick an example, each Cobra Commander product below is based on the same character design, with its physical dimensions being its major differentiating factor. Said designs are based on the vibrant, stylised art of Tom Scioli, featuring faux inked details and exaggerated proportions: the boys are broad-shouldered, the girls are svelte, and the robots are boxy and retro.

Enamel Pin Series

Released on November 3, 2017, the Enamel Pin Series consisted of blindboxed pin badges, as was the style at the time. There were 20 to collect in total, and they were provided to retailers in cases of 20, but each pin badge was produced in different quantities, meaning some were rarer than others. The two "chase" pins were "Grimlock Blue Metallic" and "Series Logo", which had a rarity of one in every 80 pins. In a break from the norm, the releases named "GI Joe / Cobra Logos" and "Transformers logos" actually featured two pin badges in one box, in the form of each franchise's faction insignias.
