Robert "Rob" Liefeld (born October 3, 1967) is an American comic book artist and occasional writer. He started his career at DC Comics (working on titles such as Hawk and Dove) before moving on to Marvel Comics, where his work on The New Mutants led him to co-create characters like Cable and the ever-popular Deadpool. Along with Jim Lee, he was one of the founding members of Image Comics, where he established Extreme Studios, creating titles such as Youngblood and Bloodstrike. Recently, he had cameoed in the ever-popular Deadpool's movie.
At one point, he was in a Levi's Jean Commercial directed by Spike Lee.[1]
