| The name or term "Megatron" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Megatron (disambiguation). |
- Megatron is a G.H.O.S.T. allied Decepticon from the EarthSpark continuity family.

Megatron used to be the cruel and merciless leader of the Decepticons, who fought against Optimus Prime and his Autobots across both Cybertron and Earth.
These days, however, he’s reformed. He now works with Optimus and his Autobots, as well as G.H.O.S.T., to protect the people of Earth, human and Cybertronian alike. However, that doesn’t mean he follows Optimus blindly. Megatron cares deeply for his former troops, and does NOT appreciate G.H.O.S.T.’s treatment of them. He’s trying to make the best of a bad situation, in the name of peace, but there’s still a bit of tension between the two leaders.

Notes

- Megatron being an ex-villain, of course, harkens back to his 2005 IDW counterpart. Unlike IDW's Megatron, however, this Megatron retains his Decepticon insignia.
- This version of Megatron also draws design elements from his IDW 2005 counterpart, as evident from the concept art seen here on the right.
- Megs turning into a dual-rotored helicopter is reminiscent of yet another Megatron.
