"Actually, I think that's an abandoned Built to Rule! factory, sir..."
"QUIET YOU!"
The Red Bucket (赤バケツ Aka Baketsu) is an ancient container that contains plenty of functional Kre-O blocks for anyone to take for their own goals.
Fiction
[edit]Kre-O online comic
[edit]Bludgeon and his troops uncovered the ancient container for the purpose of finding bricks to use for world domination. In pure coincidence, Optimus Prime had sent out Bluestreak, Jazz, and Sideswipe to find the bucket; when the two sides met, they began to fight over it.
Bludgeon ordered Dirge to tip the Red Bucket over the Autobots to bury them in falling blocks, but this proved to be a stupid move as Jazz used the blocks to build a giant Mega-Jazz robot to send the Decepticons packing.
Sideswipe, who did not partake in the battle thanks to being lost in the jungle, found the bucket empty, while his fellow Autobots brought the remaining blocks home. Treasure Competition! Defeat with Block Power!
Notes
[edit]
- The Red Bucket is based on the container of the Kre-O "Ultimate Vehicle Pack", and its appearance in the comic (complete with the appearances of Jazz, Bluestreak, and Sideswipe) is pretty much an advertisement for that set.
- The Red Bucket is drawn in inconsistent proportions throughout the comic, as it started out being cube-shaped when it was discovered, then becoming longer when it was tripped over, and finally in its toy-correct proportions when discovered by Sideswipe.
- It is pretty fortunate that it contains the right pieces to make a Mega-Jazz robot.
