The ghost-type alien known as Geistrom (ガイシュトロム Gaishutorom) has a deep loathing of machines. As such, he seeks to use his ability to destroy machines by touch and the capability to create a swarm of himself to wipe them out.

Geistrom attempted to steal the Chrono Matrix from a hidden temple on Cybertron, but its guardian, Master Optimus Prime, was able to repel and wipe out the would-be thief with his attacks.
