The name or term "Long Haul" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Long Haul (disambiguation).
Long Haul is a Decepticon Constructicon from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2003 Universe toyline).
Look, he's pretending to steer a big truck like a grown-up!

Long Haul is one of the six Micromaster Constructicons who combine into Devastator, Long Haul forming his right leg. Long Haul's personality, like that of his comrades, is unknown.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

In Aurex 1104.30-DB Zeta (a highly Primax-influenced universe), the Micromasters were born from Doctor Brian Jones's attempts at reverse-engineering Maximus combiner technology and applying it to Mini-Con anatomy. However, the Decepticons stole the technology and created their own Micromaster combiner, Devastator. Superion, Defensor, and Rail Racer fought Devastator in the Combiner Wars during the Unicron Singularity crisis. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/07/31

Toys

Universe (2003)

Short Haul.
  • Long Haul (Micromaster, 2004)
  • Series: II
  • Accessories: Devastator right foot
A redeco of Treader, Long Haul transforms into an "earth mover" dump truck. He can form the leg to any similar-construction Micromaster combiner robot, but his nominal position is as the right leg of Constructicon Devastator. (He can theoretically be used as an arm too, but only by using the fists that came with the Sixturbo molds... and if you don't mind an incredibly awkward, ill-positioned arm.)
Part of the second wave of KB Toys exclusive Universe MicroMasters, he and the other Micromaster Constructicons were also ultimately available from Sears during Christmastime, and Kmart's online store.
The toy's larger connector socket is approximately 5 mm wide, making Long Haul compatible with Powerlinx ports.
This toy doubles as the Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of Long Haul. This mold was also used to make Micromaster Long Haul.

  • Long Haul (Micromaster, 2004)
  • Series: II
  • Accessories: Devastator right foot
The Micromaster Constructicons were sold in Europe under the Energon banner, presumably since Europe never actually got Universe. The toys are identical to the Universe versions.

Notes

  • Every bit of purple on Long Haul is paint. His wheels and connector socket are the only parts not cast in bright green plastic.
