The garbage disposal bot is an AllSpark Mutation from the live-action film continuity family.
If ever there was a perfect opportunity to reuse the name Gnaw, this is it.

The garbage disposal bot is an evil Appliancebot who can conceal himself in the form of a garbage disposal. He's homicidal pretty much from birth, made of blades, and that's about all we know.

Fiction

Revenge of the Fallen

The garbage disposal bot was brought to life when Sam Witwicky dropped a piece of the AllSpark. Along with his fellow Appliancebots, he tried to attack Sam but was blasted by Bumblebee for his troubles. Revenge of the Fallen

The garbage disposal bot’s involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, were also chronicled in the novels "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "The Last Prime"; and the storybook "When Robots Attack!."

Notes

I dare you to touch it
  • An early concept drawing of the garbage disposal robot was created by artist Paul Ozzimo. While it did not end up becoming the design the film used, it was used for the garbage disposal bot's design in the tie-in book When Robots Attack!.
  • The Garbage Disposal bot is similar to the Paper Shredder from the Disney movie G-Force. The Paper Shredder is however WAY more menacing...
  • In the game, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the transmitters found in chapter 1 bear a striking resemblance to this character.
  • The filmmaker stated in a commentary that they "cheated" on this one because he is never actually seen transforming.
