Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers
- Guard City (Multi-pack, 1992)
- ID number: TF-04
- Accessories: Pistol, left & right cannons
- Released in the Operation Combination portion of the original Takara, Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers toyline, Sparkride is (barely) a redeco of the original Groove, transforming into a Honda Goldwing GL1200 police motorcycle. The figure is almost identical to Groove, save for different decals. Since Sparkride uses the Scramble City-style of combination, they can form the limb of any super robot combination, though their nominal placement is as the right leg of Guard City.
- Sparkride was only available as a part of the complete Guard City box set, along with Fire Chief, Fly-Up, Safety, and Streetstar. As one of the very last releases of the Japanese Transformers line, at a time when pretty much everyone had stopped buying Transformers, even a loose set of the team can demand prices over a thousand dollars.
Notes
- None of the Guard City components were given individual bios. This was actually very common by this point in the Takara Transformers line, which was loaded up with multi-packs (mainly of Micromasters) where the singular on-package bio would cover the entire team, and there was very little fiction to even attempt to highlight anyone beyond "hey cool robot that fights good".
