- Thundercracker is a heroic Decepticon from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
Thundercracker is a founding member of the Mayhem Suppression Squad and its friendly, moral center. If his paintjob doesn't blind his enemies into submission, he's got a 50-meter sonic-dampening effect to shut them up. He feels so sorry for beings that, unlike himself, are incapable of flight, that he sometimes drags them through the sky unsolicited using his, er, "mango-clamps".

Thundercracker belies his name by being anything but crass and bombastic.
He's cool, calm, collected - even in the heat of battle - and never allows himself to surrender to the inferior instincts of his enemies. He'd rather outthink or outmanoeuvre than resort to the impressive weapons array at his disposal, not least of which is his senses-shattering sonic boom. He'd rather use his sonic dampener, a sound suppressor that's equally disorienting.

Like previous versions of the Classics Thundercracker toy, Shattered Glass Thundercracker is a faithful reproduction of Generation 1 Thundercracker's 1984 toy, but with modern standards of toy engineering, transformation, sculpting detail and articulation.
