A handroid is a personal companion artificial intelligence device developed by the Agorrians. It is worn as a gauntlet and can act independently to assist its user.

The Agorrian Darak made use of a handroid in his affairs. His life was saved by the handroid when he crash-landed on an unknown world, with the handroid crawling toward a nearby medpac and injecting Darak with it of its own volition. When he encountered the Zertonian Solila, the handroid repeatedly warned him of the sacred decrees he was breaking in the name of survival, including but not limited to not subduing her on sight and removing his flight armor in front of her.
