- Part of a future wave of EarthSpark Warrior Class toys, "Chaos Terran Spitfire" is a redeco of Twitch, transforming into a hover drone of made-up model.
- Spitfire features a "Combine and Ride" gimmick similar to the Energon Autobots' "Powerlinx" gimmick, that allows them to form an upper body to attach to a compatible vehicle mode, or to allow another half-robot to attach to the top of their vehicle mode. Nominally this is to allow them to combine with their wavemate, Hashtag.
- Like many EarthSpark toyline releases, Spitfire was found listed on a retailer website prior to any official announcement by Hasbro; in Spitfire's case, the Spanish retailer ajaguar.com.
