The name or term "Don" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Don (disambiguation).
We can't bring ourselves to be snarky; he rocked.

Donald Messick (September 7, 1926October 24, 1997) was an American voice actor. He is best known for providing the voice of countless Hanna-Barbera characters for decades, notably Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear's pal Boo Boo, Astro on The Jetsons, Bamm Bamm and Hoppy on The Flintstones, Dr. Benton Quest on Jonny Quest, and an endless array of non-verbal dogs, cats, camels, donkeys, amorphous blobs, and other beings, before Frank Welker cornered the market.

He made a rare on-camera appearance on the short-lived sitcom The Duck Factory with Jim Carrey, where he stretched his thespian talents to play Wally Wooster, an eccentric who made his living as... a voice actor.
