Masaru Sakamoto (坂本 勝 Sakamoto Masaru) is a Japanese animator and Illustrator part of Studio Trigger. He's primarily known for designing the characters in SSSS.Gridman, as well as animating for Little Witch Academia and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.

- A huge Transformers fan, Sakamoto's character designs for SSSS.Gridman are full of references to the franchise, with characters based on Shattered Glass Transformers and Age of Extinction Dinobots.
