Prowl and Ironhide loaded refuse crates onto an automated surface-bound garbage train, unaware that Orion Pax, D-16 and B-127 were stowed away on it.
Later, when Orion and Elita-1 broadcasted Airachnid's memories, Prowl was there to witness the records of Sentinel Prime's treachery, turning against him. After Orion—now rechristened Optimus Prime—rejuvenated Cybertron's energon supply with the Matrix of Leadership, Prowl was among the many bots who received a new transformation cog. One
