Strike Force Alpha was an early war combat unit of the Autobot army under the command of Optimus Prime. Gamma Squad is possibly a subunit within the team. Its known members are:

- It is not possible to tell for certain which of the pictured Autobots is which, but the placement of the text balloons weakly seems to imply that "Big Yellow" is Pulsar, as does Optimus reminding him to provide covering fire for gunners (the blue and white robot was down among the gunners).
- While only three Autobots are namedropped by Optimus Prime, there are at least five other members of the team depicted in the panel. Fusion and Bluestreak are possibly also members of Strike Force Alpha, though they are not explicitly shown alongside the others, Optimus states that he is waiting for them to return.
