Thousands of years ago, the warring planets Agorria and Zertonia orbited the same sun. When that sun collapsed into a black hole, the two races came together to save themselves. They connected their two planets around the black hole, each now forming one half of the Sacred Ring. Sadly, they fell back to war over control of their newly shared home. But maybe one day, revelations from the past will unite the two races once more.
Fiction
Energon Universe
Little is known about the origins of Agorria and Zertonia, only that it was somehow facilitated by the Cybertronian sage Zerta Trion, who created a single race of organic beings. Over time, this unified race fell to war, and over the millennia, the two planets forgot they were one and the same.
When their shared sun collapsed into a black hole, the two planets found it practical to lay down their arms and come together in order to survive. Together, they rebuilt their worlds to join together around the black hole, with Agorrians and Zertonians living in harmony for thousands of years. Unfortunately, it didn’t last, and for unknown reasons the war began anew.
From the beginning of this new war and leading up to the present, the leaders of both factions were aware of the truth about their species, and kept the war going anyway. In the present day, Agorrian Prime Minister Dulin and Zertonian Premier Zalilak cited the fear of reawakening something known as Goliant.
