[edit]Starscream was presumably part of the team of Decepticons led by Megatron that crashed on Earth after a skirmish with the Autobots. The 'Cons Optimus Prime considered Starscream's loyalty to Megatron to be absurd, and looked forward to crushing them both. The Complete AllSpark Almanac
