Megatron has found the Ark and the original Megatron within! By merging with his namesake's spark, he becomes too powerful for even the Maximals to handle.

Synopsis

Having killed Airazor (albeit while under the control of Tarantulas), the samurai Tigatron cannot live with his dishonor, so he commits seppuku.

Elsewhere, Blackarachnia at last finds what she's been searching for: The Ark. Which means that Energoa is actually prehistoric Earth! Waspinator buzzes in, carrying Megatron's head. Megatron explains that he knew all along where they were and recounts the tale of the Ark: How their ancestors Optimus Prime and the original Megatron fought a space battle and crashed on Earth, going into stasis.

Entering the Ark, Megatron prepares to kill the sleeping body of Optimus Prime, but Blackarachnia interferes, insisting that messing with the timeline is a bad idea. She tries to stop Megatron, but he blasts her with his laser eyes. She responds by snagging him with her webs and flinging his head into the nearby lava. Sinking, Megatron sees the body of the original Megatron (which had been thrown from the ship when it crashed). He commands Megatron's chest to open and his head sinks into the cavity, followed by a big flash of light.

The blinding light fires up into space, where Rampage is still trapped in orbit. The light obliterates Rampage, freeing the sparks he had devoured and sucking them all down to Earth. Megatron, now merged with the spark of his namesake, is reborn in a new body. The sparks from Rampage rain down and revive Terrorsaur, Quickstrike and Tarantulas as zombies.

At the Maximal Scientific Research Laboratory, Rhinox and Rattrap hack into the Ark's security cameras and see the bad news. They alert Optimus Primal, who rushes to the scene. Along the way, he is attacked by the zombie Predacons and their troopers, who cannot be so easily killed again. He slaughters them all with his flying robot fists, only to next be attacked by zombie Jaguar.

Zombie Jaguar is about to fell the fatigued Optimus when who should show up but zombie Tigatron! Tigatron draws the sword from his chest and defends his commander. After cutting all of Jaguar's bullets in two, he cuts the Predacon in two, killing him for good. Zombie Airazor then shows up because WHY NOT and the two reunite as Optimus continues toward the Ark.

He arrives in time, Optimus Prime is still intact, but not for long. Megatron blasts the Autobot into pieces before Primal's eyes.
