As part of Cheetor's trials to determine the owner of the AllSpark, he procured the Sky Turbine from parts unknown through a GroundBridge for Optimus Prime's use. The Allspark turned the jet into armor for him, which he used to fight Megatron and his own helicopter-themed upgrade.
