As part of Cheetor's trials to determine the owner of the AllSpark, he procured the Sky Turbine from parts unknown through a GroundBridge for Optimus Prime's use. The Allspark turned the jet into armor for him, which he used to fight Megatron and his own helicopter-themed upgrade. This lasted until Starscream managed to steal the Allspark, causing the armor to lose its power and fall off. Trials The Sky Turbine was later seen in its original form and in the cave it was left in as Starscream remarked that it wouldn't fit Sky-Byte, as he was already the undisputed predator of the skies.
