- Voice actor: Jack Angel (English), Keiichi Nanba (Japanese), Serge Lhorca (European French)
On a dig to find Mayan artifacts, Merrick uncovered a thirteen-hundred-year-old vase. Though he claimed that he'd won his $10 bet with Joan, his discovery was promptly overshadowed by Joan uncovering the back end of a Decepticon space cruiser. His assertion that the Mayans didn't have spacecraft was promptly ignored.
Before the team could open the space craft, the Decepticons, alerted by a television news report, arrived to retrieve the Heart of Cybertron. The archeology team escaped in their jeeps. Microbots
Notes
- The Sunbow Productions cast list entry for "Microbots" notes that Merrick is fifty years old, and that Joan is his wife.
Foreign names
