A Prosecutor was on duty during the trials of Arblus. When Kranix was dragged out, the Prosecutor promised sentencing for Hot Rod and Kup would come soon. When the Autobots were brought before the Judge, the Prosecutor offered them the chance to beg for their lives, though warning that it didn't often help. Upon being dropped into the Sharkticon pit, the Autobots managed to create a whirlpool effect to escape and engaged the Sharkticons on dry land. As the Prosecutor raged at the Sharkticons, the Dinobots broke in, the door falling onto and pinning the Prosecutor. The Transformers: The Movie
A Prosecutor served as the Commander of the Sharkticons on Quintesson Scientist Inquirata's expidition to retrieve A-3 from the past using their Time Window. After the Autobots prevented them from closing the Time Window, Inquirata ordered the Commander to destroy the Window before its effects on the flow of time destroyed the universe. However the Commander ultimately failed, forcing Inquirata to negotiate with the Autobots instead. Forever Is a Long Time Coming
At least three Quintesson Prosecutors operated a base on Titan. They enslaved the Terrorcons using an Automatic Timer to prevent them from staying as Abominus long-term. These Quintessons made a deal with Human free trader Dirk Manus to deliver them the Recreator, as it was "crucial to their operations in the Solar System". Multiple double-crosses ensued until in one final double-cross, Manus set Computron on the Quintessons and they retreated without the Recreator. Money Is Everything

A Quintesson Prosecutor was tasked with transporting a Quintesson Scorpia to the planet Dominus. Void Rivals #5 While transporting it, he boarded Skuxxoid's Rockeroid before the pilot realized he had a bounty, locking him up. When Darak and Solila were escaping the Rockeroid, the Prosecutor called for them to release him, promising to deliver them to their port of choice if they helped him to his ship. When the three reached the hangar, they found Skuxxoid waiting for them, offering the aliens, who had no bounties on them, a Nebulan spacecraft if they released the valuable Prosecutor back into his custody. Darak and Solila agreed. Void Rivals #3
Skuxxoid took the Prosecutor to Cybertron, hoping to trade him for something value. Having nothing to trade with and even less patience for the Quintessons, Shockwave told the Skuxxoid to get out, the bounty hunter leading his catch away. Void Rivals #4
Undaunted, Skuxxoid took the the Prosecutor back to Quintessa, trying to sell him back to the Quintesson Judge. When the Judge queried as to the Scorpia's status, the Prosecutor revealed the weapon's totaled state and their trip to Cybertron before he was ordered to be silent. Out of patience, the Judge ordered the Allicons to take the Prosecutor away, promising to deal with him later. Void Rivals #5
Toys
War for Cybertron Trilogy

- Quintesson Pit of Judgement (2020)
- Known designers: Ken Christiansen (concept artist), Mario Carreiro and AJ Piejko-Brown (packaging)
- The Prosecutor is a non-transforming 2.5-inch tall soft-ish-plastic figurine. Its head and levitation "beam" are connected via 5 mm posts, which gives him a tiny bit of articulation. The beam's post has a 3 mm hole in it, making it compatible with most Fire Blast effect posts, though its flat base kinda limits its use in that way.
- Hasbro stock photography of the Prosecutor actually managed to show him misassembled, with his body backwards.
- This toy was only available in the "Quintesson Pit of Judgement" box set, along with redecos of the Quintesson Judge and Sharkticon, the Quintesson Bailiff, and a mini-figure of Kranix. It was available first for people who attended the Hasbro Fans Expo in Hong Kong and preordered the set. It was later made a Hasbro PulseCon 2020 exclusive in the United States and Canada (except for Quebec), available to Premium members on September 23 2020, then opened up to all members on the 24th, where it sold out, went to pre-orders for more, then sold out of pre-orders within a few short hours despite a (stated) 1-per-customer limit.
Notes
- This type of Quintesson was identified only as the "Quintesson Leader" in the credits for The Transformers: The Movie (or, the "Lead Quintesson" in an earlier draft of the script). The term "Prosecutor," based on the role the character played in the Quintessons' court system, was first used in the Ladybird Books adaptation of the movie;[1] twenty years later, it was used again in the model sheet reference book Transformers: The Ark, leading to its widespread adoption. However, The Ark's use of the term was not likely based on knowledge of the Ladybird book itself; three years before The Ark's publication, in 2004, the name was used in a fan-made graphic put together by Chris McFeely, which appears to have influenced The Ark.[2]
- In reality, stories over the years have seen the "Prosecutors" serve many different leadership roles outside the Quintessons' courts, even as early as the Generation 1 episode "Forever Is a Long Time Coming," in which one filled the role referred to in the episode's script as the "Quintesson Commander."
