*Metrotank's new body in the Legends manga is a "virtual redeco" of the Siege Deluxe Class Brunt toy due to the Kingdom Deluxe Class Slammer toy not being known until 2021. Unfortunately, this means Metrotank is the odd man out in contrast to his squadmates who share bodies with the relevant Autobot toys.

Let's see what you can see...

This article is in need of images.

Specifics: A picture of Metrotank's toy by itself
Metrotank is a Decepticon from the Zone portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
He makes up for his lack of transformation with a positive personality.

Metrotank (メトロタンク Metorotanku) is a sentient tank, and a member of the Metrosquad. The only member of the squad who lacks a robot mode, he is nonetheless extremely powerful, but also has a very short temper. Winning combination, right there.

Fiction

Zone story pages

Following his activation on Saturn's moon, Titan, Metrotitan formed the Metrosquad. Their first mission was to attack the Autobot Lunar Zone Base commanded by Rabbicrater and destroy it completely. Zone Part 7

As Metrotitan destroyed Galaxy Shuttle, the Metrosquad kept Sonic Bomber busy. Zone Part 8

Eventually, Metrotitan and the Metrosquad were defeated by the arrival of Roadfire and his fearsome "Fire Kick". Zone Part 9

Legends comic

Metrotank was present when the Metrosquad acquired Full-Tilt's personality component. LG-43 Trypticon Project Chapter

Metrotank and the Metrosquad joined Metrotitan in attacking Zone again under the command of Violengiguar. LG-EX Big Powered Prologue Part One

Toys

Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers

Now can I have a new toy, please?
 • ID number: D-340
 • Known designers: Kōjin Ōno (TakaraTomy)
A redeco of Slammer, Metrotank is... well, a tank. He transforms into a tower for Metrotitan's city mode by removing the tank turret (and just setting it aside) and flipping out a large "antenna" from the front. He was only available as part of the Metrotitan set.

Notes

 • Metrotank's new body in the Legends comic is a "virtual redeco" of the Siege Deluxe Class Brunt toy due to the Kingdom Deluxe Class Slammer toy not being known until 2021.
