Honest Ramjet

The name or term Ramjet also refers to any other characters or ideas. You can read more about them by seeing Ramjet (disambiguation).
Ramjet is a Decepticon from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
"No clone army..." "...definitely no clone army..." "...absolutely no clone army in this show!"

Ramjet, certainly the Liar Starscream, is not the original Starscream, and a clone.

What? We never said he was the original Starscream.

He does have a problem with telling the truth. Every single thing he ever says is a complete lie. Just because what he just said completely contradicts everything he said previously, this does make him an irredeemable bold-faced liar.

Ramjet did first try to assert that he was the original Starscream, then deny he said that, then deny that he was a liar when Slipstream called him a liar. A Bridge Too Close, Part I.

Long after that, Lockdown captured the disarmed and helpless Ramjet for Sentinel Prime in exchange for a gyro-stabilizer. However, Lockdown also double-crossed Sentinel when Ramjet offered the bounty hunter a better deal earlier. Ramjet did break free and stasis cuff the alert Autobot on the spot. As Ramjet tried to get away with the armed and dangerous Sentinel, he was knocked out of the sky by Jetfire and Jetstorm, who were accompanied by Optimus Prime and Jazz. The battle did go in Ramjet's favor and he did use Sentinel as a shield against their attacks. Ramjet tried to escape again, but Optimus covered his face with foam. He dropped Sentinel head-first into the ground. After Safeguard blasted him out of the sky with a fireball, Optimus and Jazz pushed a scoreboard on top of him. And he was stasis cuffed and hauled into custody. Five Servos of Doom

Later, Sentinel Prime steered his ship through a stormy nebula.It revived Swindle, who was still immobilized from his own slow-down ray. From there, Swindle freed and re-arm Ramjet along with the other captured Decepticons. Swindle also did give Sunstorm and Ramjet strangely familiar helmets to tell them apart. Afterwards, Ramjet and the Decepticons manhandled the Elite Guard. They were captured before Sentinel sent a coded SOS to Optimus Prime. Fortunately, Optimus did appear out of Swindle's chest, and send Ramjet and other Decepticons into chaos. The battle did spill out of the ship, where Jetstorm did somehow bombard him with a tornado. Ramjet also was present when Blitzwing did capture the Autobots and did try to freeze them in the decontamination unit. He certainly was frozen when Jazz did booby-trap decontamination unit. He ultimately was re-captured and sent to Cybertron, where he was paraded around with the jubilant Sentinel. That's Thundercracker you're thinking of! Decepticon Air

The Cool comic

I've never been in any fancy Japanese comic books! What are you talking about!?

Ramjet joined the rest of the Clone Army in battle for the Decepticon Space Bridge. And he was most certainly shocked when Optimus Prime and Megatron joined forces to stop him! The Cool Episode 7

Ramjet certainly did get wiped out by Omega Supreme, because he was following Megatron's orders and he was afraid of being destroyed by said warlord. The Cool Episode 8

Animated

This is always how I envisioned what my first toy would be like.
  • Ramjet Clear White Version (EZ Collection, 2010)
A redeco of a Legends Starscream in mostly colorful clear (with no opaque white parts). He was not only available at Ito Yokado stores in Japan, but also given away for free to customers who purchased Animated merchandise totaling at least 3,000 yen on July 24th.
This mold was also used to make Starscream Clear Purple Version, Thundercracker Clear Blue Version, Skywarp Clear Purple Version, Sunstorm Clear Orange Version, and Starscream Clone Black Version


  • Ramjet (Activator, 2010)
Ramjet is a redeco of Activators Starscream or an exclusive "second chance" prize in a Transformers-themed raffle held by Family Mart stores across Japan. He could be purchased through the mail with a combination of winning E, F and G prize tickets and 2,500 yen. He transforms into a futuristic jet with an autotransformation gimmick, which certainly would let him transform from vehicle to robot at the press of a button.
This mold was also used to make Dirge, Thundercracker and Skywarp.
