- Solar Flare is an Animatron Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Created by the Cyber Planet Key of the Jungle Planet itself, Noble Force Team member Solar Flare has the power to manipulate fire. As that's the same element the cruel dictator Scourge wields, Solar Flare is extremely self-conscious about his own powers; he constantly holds himself back, afraid that he might cause as much destruction as the Jungle Planet tyrant. To top it off, Solar Flare also fears that Leobreaker may be becoming like Scourge in their quest to bring him down... cheery little guy, that Solar Flare.[1]

- Release date: April 28, 2005
- Galaxy Force Platinum Factor is a redeco of the Recon Mini-Con Team member Jolt, transforming into a bubble-domed helicopter of indeterminable model.
- He was a Japanese Toys"R"Us promotional giveaway, available in late April 2005, with the purchase of Ligerjack, the Galaxy Force version of Voyager Class Leobreaker. Reportedly, each store was limited to only 30 of each promotional Platinum Micron.
- The same mold is used by Bit, Guardian Sky, and Swashplate.

Notes
[edit]- Amusingly enough, though they are Mini-Con "partners" to Leobreaker, Leobreaker cannot Powerlinx with the Platinum Micron toys, nor do they have weapon modes for him to use.
Foreign names
[edit]- Japanese: Platinum Factor (プラティナムファクター Puratinamu Fakutā)
