Revision as of 05:16, 3 July 2025

The Gyronian Sentries are Autobots and Decepticons originally from the Generation 1 continuity family.
"He's invincible, all powerful, stronger than all of the Avengers rolled into one."

Gyronian Sentries are, in theory, intensely loyal to Gyronia. Autobots who join the Gyronian Sentries are asked to abandon their appearance and identity as a show of their devotion. Most carry a Sorque Suspension Phaser that stuns a target by seizing their internals, but the growing Decepticon threat has inspired some of them to upgrade to a larger model.

So much of their processor is dedicated to following orders that it would be a simple task indeed to switch the direction of their loyalty with some sort of device.

The machine released its victim, work complete, and the newly programmed Decepticon affirmed his allegiance to Megatron. Megatron was pleased, and went on to use the device on the Constructicons. Wings Universe

Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.

In the early days of the war, the entire Gyronian Sentry Team went missing, failing to report in. The next anyone saw of them, one of their number was taking the Combaticons into custody after the Elite Guard had captured them. Battle Lines, Part 4 It wasn't until the Elite Guard returned to Iacon that they learned of the Sentry Team's missing status. The Sentry team had been somehow turned to the Decepticon cause, and instead took the Combaticons to Deathsaurus's base, now under Megatron's control. One of their number released Deathsaurus from his chains before Megatron and Deathsaurus's ceremonial battle. Battle Lines, Part 5
