This page is to be used to nominate featured articles for the Main Page. There is no guarantee that any pages nominated here will be picked, as ultimately the selected featured article is at the sole discretion of site owner ItsWalky.

When nominating pages, provide an explanation of why you believe it deserves to be featured, and — if you think it would be best suited to a certain month — an explanation of why it should be picked for that month.

Previous nominations that were eventually made into featured articles can be found here.

Nominations

  • Transformers: Devastation. Devastation was the last game released as part of Activision's 10-year licensing deal, the last TF console game released for five years until Battlegrounds came out in October 2020, and one of the more beloved games in the franchise. The article is fully-featured, with a complete plot summary, a detailed gameplay section, multiple images, and a comprehensive list of callbacks to past TF media. (It would also mark the first time we've featured an article about a video game.) -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:31, 3 October 2020 (EDT)
  • DreamMix TV World Fighters. Similarly comprehensive, to the point where our coverage was basically quoted word-for-word by Did You Know Gaming. Aside from detailed gameplay and content explanations, it includes some interesting trivia that provides some real-world context for the game. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:31, 3 October 2020 (EDT)
  • I, Lowtech. I worked on this one for three weeks trying to get it down perfect. Make that about 2 years if we're counting the Jenny's Gun incident. Grammar could stand to be streamlined a bit, but otherwise it's all there. Escargon (talk) 17:39, 7 October 2020 (EDT)
  • Transformer. Such a big, obvious one that it's kind of surprising it hasn't been done yet - maybe for a wiki anniversary? Loco/Grum (and, to a lesser extent, I) put a lot of work into making this one a comprehensive overview of Cybertronians as a species. --Broadside (talk) 18:52, 7 October 2020 (EDT)
    • Returning to this one - maybe it'd be a good fit for September 2024, the 40th anniversary of the G1 cartoon and comic? --Broadside (talk) 16:29, 19 December 2023 (EST)
  • The Transformers: The Movie. A detailed and entertainingly-written page for possibly the most iconic piece of "Generation 1" media. Kind of sad it didn't get featured earlier, in my opinion. Maybe give a little check over before featuring, but I personally don't think much needs improving. Additionally, featuring this page next month would coincide with its 35th birthday. Doomdorm64 (talk) 12:04, 26 July 2021 (EDT)
  • Razorbeast. For November. Cuz Will Smith's been looking for him since October! Also, he makes his return to fiction in October's IDW Beast Wars issue, and heh, Thanksgiving = ham. Nu-Priest (talk) 11:41, 5 August 2021 (EDT)
  • Pat Lee. For next month. This just occurred to me after seeing him resurface in the news last week. I mean, the man likes to promote himself, so maybe we should help him? He DID create the North American run of Transformers comics, after all. Nu-Priest (talk) 11:46, 9 August 2021 (EDT)
  • Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity. After today's extensive overhaul by AzimuthAcolyte, I feel this page is a hell of a lot more informative than it once was and summarizes the history pretty nicely. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 00:18, 20 October 2021 (EDT)
  • Jack Angel, for obvious reasons.-DDog (talk) 16:11, 20 October 2021 (EDT)
  • Discord (MLP). It's a content-complete article for a relatively popular character (even if not one from TF itself), plus the randomized mainpic seems like one of those things that casual readers will find fun/funny without being intrusive to the reading experience. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 14:01, 16 December 2021 (EST)
  • Sunstorm (G1). Maybe when he gets a new toy, but he's still something of a signpost/landmark character and the page is basically complete as of now. Nu-Priest (talk) 11:43, 18 February 2022 (EST)
  • Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals (N64)/Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals (PS). Two more video game pages that are basically fully-complete, including all relevant plot and gameplay details. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 03:00, 19 July 2022 (EDT)
  • Duel Fight Transformers Beast Wars: Beast Warriors' Strongest Decisive Battle Same reasons as above, but this one has the Gorilla Butt Puu dance. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 00:52, 8 August 2022 (EDT)
  • Beast mode, Mini-Con: two big "concept" articles I did within the last year that are tangentially connected to RoTB and Legacy Armada Prime respectively. Locoman (talk) 18:06, 28 February 2023 (EST)
  • Optimus Prime (Armada) becuz of that new leaked toy, or Transformers: Armada (franchise) becuz of the hyper around him and Megatron. Oh and JaAm for Aprils Fools day becuz it's sounds suitable. [Admin note: Absolutely not.] --Poliwag06 (talk) 21:18, 28 February 2023 (EST)
  • Buster (IDW): The real-life inspiration for Buster, John Barber's dog Charlie, passed away earlier this month, and I think this would be a fitting tribute - plus, Buster's article is comprehensive and well-illustrated, and she's a beloved character. --Broadside (talk) 18:54, 14 August 2023 (EDT)
  • Rock Lord: For January, and coincide with the release of the Armorizers. which r their spiritual successors. --Poliwag06 (talk) 09:45, 1 December 2023 (EST)
  • alt.toys.transformers: What little remaining user base ATT may still have is going to pretty much vanish altogether in February 2024. Let's pour one out. https://www.theverge.com/2023/12/14/24002220/google-groups-is-about-to-drop-support-for-posting-to-or-browsing-usenet --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 07:51, 15 December 2023 (EST)
  • Beachcomber (G1): His page is up to date, he's a current starring character in the comic, and his latest toy is still highly sought after. Nu-Priest (talk) 14:40, 17 August 2024 (EDT)
  • Sixshot (G1): Large, distinctive G1 toy with some notable portrayals over the years. Our coverage of him is quite complete. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 16:23, 27 October 2024 (EDT)
  • The Fallen: To commemorate the reveal of the Age of the Primes toy. --CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 20:34, 27 October 2024 (EDT)
  • Sky-Byte (RID): Overdue, I think. --M Sipher (talk) 18:34, 8 February 2025 (EST)
  • Yonezawa Toys: Why, what could be more interesting to a Transformers wiki than the company which birthed the very concept of a transforming robot? Yonezawa is a really neat manufacturer with an interesting bit of Transformers interaction that hadn't yet been undocumented in this wiki up until recently, and I believe it'd make a great featured article. (FortressMaxxing (talk) 08:47, 3 May 2025 (EDT))
  • Sideways (Armada): Pretty comprehensive coverage of the character (no missing fiction, plenty of images, etc.) and he recently won a Hall of Fame vote for best exclusive figure of the year. Plus, it's Sideways -- I feel like he's a fairly significant character, considering all of the different iterations of himself he's inspired all of these years down the line.
