Aww, Frank, look, remember? The Double Butt Graft. My science project from Evilos! I sewed the butt of a dog onto the butt of a cat. Sure, they all laughed....

Swapticons is a toyline of small, simple little figures that turn into one half of an alt mode, coming together to form a whole, not unlike the Micromaster Combiners of old.

The Swapticons were revealed January 15th, 2025, hitting stores not long after.

Toys

The Swapticons all share a simple construction, each one being a largely immobile, largely cube-shaped robot with a cylindrical spring-loaded head, forming half of an alt-mode by simply laying face-down. The heads act as coupling mechanisms; by pressing two Swapticons together at the head and then twisting them together, the two lock into place, forming... something, depending on who you combined. Obviously, the combinations can be very, very silly, given the mix of vehicular and bestial half-alt-modes.

Due to the needed simplicity of the heads for the gimmick to work, their detailing is provided by stickers. But hey, it does mean the various redecos don't have to have the wrong face!

Some Swapticons have very limited articulation at the arms, if you care.
