Meet Junkyard Ron, Cyberworld's favourite friendly junk collector with nothing suspicious about him, no siree!
Synopsis
Held at gunpoint by a mysterious stranger, Optimus Prime, Elita-1 and Bumblebee explain that they are there to investigate Scorponok. When Bumblebee lets slip their interest in the crashed Autobot shuttle, the stranger recognises it, but before any questions can be answered, a dust storm blow in, and the stranger takes them to his shack to wait for it to blow over. When asked for his name, the bot says he doesn't quite recall, but says he used to be known as Ron. Having been trapped on Cyberworld for longer than he can remember, he's since become a collector of junk and assorted scrap. Bumblebee and Elita fill him in on their own backstory - whilst making an assault back on Cybertron, they were engulfed in a huge blast, and found themselves inexplicably transported to Cyberworld. Optimus suspects Megatron may be behind it, and they want to get to the shuttle to make an escape. Ron doesn't know anything about Scorponok, but he warns them they will need a lot of Energon to try it, to which Bumblebee brags they have plenty.

The storm clears, but when they step out the door, Ron despairs, for his collection has been blown to the four corners. To repay him for sheltering them, Optimus offers their services collecting it, and they role out, even as Elita-1 casts a suspicious glance backwards. Splitting up, Bumblebee is stalked and taken by surprise by a shape in the dusty haze. Elita-1 is next, and while she pulls her blaster out as a precaution, she is still jumped. Optimus sees the laser shots through the sand clouds, and runs to help Elita, but crashes right into Ron, who claims he too heard the shouting and came to help, but was also attacked. Optimus carries Ron back to his shack, but finds Bumblebee there, lying unconscious on the floor, two glowing marks on his neck. Before he can examine himself, Elita bursts in, yelling that it was Ron who attacked them both! Ron jumps Optimus, overpowering him as he opens a slot on his neck and plugs in a prong emerging from his hand. Energon flows from Optimus to Ron, draining him to critical levels, and then Optimus is thrown to the ground. This new infusion gives Ron new life, and he discards his junkyard armour, glowing and reformatting to his true self - Galvatron! The shack is destroyed as dust tornado lands right on top of it, and Galvatron thanks the trio for helping him out, announcing his intentions to return properly to Cyberworld and take control. Optimus tries to stop him, powering himself up with his orb, but his axe is unable to move Galvatron an inch, and the warlord throws him off, before crushing the orb in his palm. Galvatron transforms to dragon mode, torches the remains of the shack, and flies off.

Quotes
"Well Bumblebee, somehow you're a courier bot. You've become everything you've ever hated."

- — Galvatron knows how to make a dramatic entrance.
Notes
Continuity notes
- The Autobots were engaged in a battle with the Decepticons before being transported to Cyberworld in a huge explosion, which matches what we've seen in prior flashbacks.
Character levels
- Bumblebee is halfway through Level 5 when attacked.
- Elita-1 is Level 5, higher than Bumblebee.
- Optimus is Level 3, close to Level 4. Ron draining his energon sends him right down to the lowest of Level 1.
- This all matches up with the results of the competition from last episode! Nice!
Transformers references
- Before they landed on Cyberworld, our Autobot trio were manning an assault on Tesarus Minor, a location introduced in the 2005 IDW continuity.
- Other Bumblebees have been couriers in other continuities, such as the 2005 IDW or Marvel Comics incarnations.
Real world references

- This is the first episode to be packaged with three previous episodes instead of one upon its initial release. It was specifically uploaded with Crate Point, Well Fought, Smoke & Mirrors, and Hunter vs Hunted.
