[edit]The smallest of Cybertron's moons, Luna 3 hosted a communications hub during the Great War. At some point, Alien Hunt! co-host Cosmos was possessed by an obicular-class parasitic entity which sought to reach Cybertron and feed on the fears of the Cybertronian race. Unable to fully fight off the alien, Cosmos managed to force herself to crash on Luna 3. The entity fed on the fears of the communications staff with the tale leading the Cybertronian race to quarantine Luna 3 behind a force field, earning it the title "the forbidden moon."
Years later, a psychic shard of the cityspeaker Windblade was absorbed by the entity, bringing Bumblebee and Cosmos' grieving co-host Meteorfire to the moon to find it. After the entity had been shattered and Cosmos freed, Luna 3 became the unexpected location of Alien Hunt!'s revival. Alien Hunt! With Meteorfire And Cosmos
Notes
[edit]- While only two moons of Cybertron were originally established to exist by The Transformers: The Movie, the third issue of the Marvel Comics adaptation showed Cybertron with five moons. As such, one could consider this a retroactive appearance of Moonbase 3.
- The name "Selene" comes from the Titaness of the moon in Greek mythology.
