Following the devastation of Cybertron in the year 2011, the Disaster Relief Team (災害救助チーム Saigaikyūjo Chīmu) rebuilt their homeworld. After they acquire the ability to combine, they are also known as the Lynx Team (リンクスチーム Rinkusu Chīmu).

The Disaster Relief Team was released by TakaraTomy Mall as a Unite Warriors five-pack. Four of the five molds had been retail releases in Hasbro's markets while the Ratchet tooling had previously only been released at BotCon 2016.
