The second Transformers Collaborative toy crossover with the Netflix-produced science-fiction/horror series [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Stranger Things|{{#if:||Stranger Things}}]], Freakwency is a roughly-Voyager-sized toy that transforms from robot to an unlicensed approximation of a 1977 GMC Vandura van, adorned with livery for the WSQK radio station. In robot mode, their tummy region resembles an 8-track cassette player (which was severely obsolete and almost completely gone from retail by the show's in-universe date of 1987), and can open up to fit Freakwency's pack-in partner 8-Trax in their tape mode.
Freakwency comes with a rubber chicken (playing on the WSQK station's signature "squawk" sound which got a lot of rubber chicken merch made for the build-up to the fifth season but rubber chickens barely even appeared in the show) which can transform into a blaster for them to hold.
The set was revealed and set up for preorder as a Target exclusive on November 7 2025, as part of a big merch push for the fifth and final season of the show. But the toy was not released until June 1st the following year, long after the season finished up.
