This year’s special contains four stories, each one representing the series that make up the Energon Universe up to this point:
- A sixteen-page M.A.S.K. story serving as a prologue to the ongoing series, by Dan Watters and Pye Parr (M.A.S.K.)
- A four-page Transformers story featuring a mysterious new character, by Robert Kirkman and Jason Howard (Transformers)
- A six-page Void Rivals story about Proximus and Ultum meeting Akronus, by Robert Kirkman and Conor Hughes (Void Rivals)
- A six-page G.I. Joe story focusing on Zartan and Hawk, by Joshua Williamson and Tom Reilly (G.I. Joe)
