Proximus and Ultum make a new ally on their journey across the stars.
Synopsis
[edit]Deep in space, Proximus and Ultum fly a Zertonian fighter. However, it has sustained critical damage, forcing them to land on an odd planetoid.
Well... crash land, that is.
As their ship explodes in a fiery display, Proximus shields Ultum with his cybernetics, impressing his young companion. Though they've lost their Energon reserves in the crash, Ultum points out that they could probably use some of the junk from the scrapyard they've landed in to repair their ship. However, they are then confronted by Akronus, wearing armor made from junk. He warns them not to go any further and asks what has brought them to the planet Junkion. Proximus assures him that they mean no harm, and reveals that he and Ultum are currently traveling to a place called Cobra-La on a planet called Earth in pursuit of his sister. Akronus is surprised to hear his home mentioned and unmasks himself. Realizing their journeys are the same, the two decide to work together.

[edit]- This story takes place after the conclusion of the Quintesson War storyline from issue #30, though it was released almost a month beforehand. Proximus' dialogue teases the upcoming events of issue #32.
- Akronus' second skin armor was killed in the fight between the Royal Guards and Skuxxoid in issue #16. He was believed dead and left behind by the rest of his team, and has been living with the Junkions since issue #19.
- Proximus realized that Solila was his sister issue #27.
