He is notable for the roles of Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi in Naruto, Führer King Bradley in the Fullmetal Alchemist series, Baron Ashura in Mazinger Z, Kenzo Kabuto and Emperor of Darkness in Great Mazinger, Monkey D. Dragon in One Piece, Igneel and the Narrator of Fairy Tail, and several Super Sentai villains, most predominantly Captain Zahab in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.
