- Mark Twain is a human in the Hearts of Steel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Mark Twain (November 30, 1835–April 21, 1910) was the pen name of Samuel Clemens, a satirist known for his wit and his travelings. He wrote Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which many consider to be the Great American Novel, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
Around 1867, he fought (and bested) Ravage.

While living in San Francisco, Mark Twain befriended other writers of his day, such as Jules Verne. At great expense, Mark Twain hired a ferry to take him and Verne out into the middle of San Francisco Bay to witness Tobias Muldoon's new invention, a "sub-marine".
