The toy was never released as a Transformer, but a Decepticon based on the toy has appeared in several comics beginning in 2002.</div>

Marlboor Wheeljack was one of many Decepticons in the Kaon gladiator arena to witness Megatron's execution of the corrupt Emirate Xeon, signaling the beginning of their uprising. He was standing right next to Jet-Helicopter Triple Changer. The War Within #2

Marlboor Wheeljack and the Jet-Helicopter Triple Changer were in Iacon when Starscream's botched mechaforming attempt leveled the city. Marlboor Wheeljack and the Triple Changer were unprepared when Shockwave ordered troops to fall back to Kolkular rather than be destroyed. The War Within #6

Trivia

• Though unnamed and indeed nonspeaking in his fictional appearances, "Marlboor Wheeljack" is referred to as such here due to being a cameo appearance of a Diaclone variant of the toy that would become Wheeljack. The toy features a retooled head and a different color scheme with "Marlboor" endorsements.
