Failsafe is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across Earth. A member of the Green Mini-Con Team, when Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Failsafe fires homing missiles that can track opponents over long distances and deliver massive damage.

Failsafe's Mini-Con storage panel was found atop the mountain the autobots had scaled from the inside with the aid of Highjump in Alaska. he was recovered just before Starscream crashed his starship into the mountain in an attemept to crush the Autobots.
