Light Units are a type of Decepticlone from the Transformers (PS2) video game.
Light Units (also referred to as "Fodder Units" and "Foddercons" by fans) are the most common "foot soldier" variety of Decepticlone in the early levels of the game. Light Units are the weakest humanoid-shaped type with minimal armour and firepower, they also possess only rudimentary intelligence and combat skill. Although small in both size and threat, Light Units are somewhat effective in groups, but only when a Medium or Command Unit is present to give orders. Should their squad leader be destroyed, Light Units have a tendency to panic.
Light Units' only weapon is a small laser-blaster in place of their right hand. However, once a target is spotted, Light Units will not waver from attacking. This means that, if ignored, a Light Unit can chip away at an Autobot's health bar considerably.
Toy
The Light Unit model is the base for the only currently-existing Decepticlone toy, from the Transformers Attacktix series.
