Chock full of drones

Dropships are a type of Decepticlone from the Transformers (PS2) video game.

Decepticlone Dropships have no offensive capabilities of their own, and have only the most rudimentary intelligence. They tend to patrol areas slowly and that's about it. However, if an Autobot gets in its sensor range, the dropship may change course to intercept, and release its cargo of Decepticlone troops. Destroying the Dropship destroys all of the Decepticlones it may contain.

Dropships open their doors in mid-air amd let troops jump out

Since the Dropships do not attack by themselves, they can be used by Autobots as transport, should they manage to get high enough to leap onto their upper decks.

A Dropship is capable of carrying either a Heavy Unit or Spider Tank clamped into the external cargo mount between its thruster vanes.
