Trans-phase mode is the nebulous, nanite-like form that Sideways sometimes takes. Whether it be a nanite cloud, a static-textured tentacle, or his appearance projected onto the sky, it doesn't matter. Regardless of his form, you can't destroy him! Even if you hack him into tiny pieces.
