Sureshot is an Autobot from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sureshot, the "warrior leader" of the Autobots, is renowned for his bravery. As versatile as he is powerful, he invariably leads his forces to victory whether heading an attack or rallying a last-ditch defense.

He bears a certain resemblance to Optimus Prime.


Toys

Generation 2

  • Sureshot (Hero, 1994)
Sureshot's toy, sold only in European markets, is virtually identical to the Hero Optimus Prime figure. The only difference is that Sureshot's "chest-window" stickers do not have the "OPTIMUS PRIME" text on them. It transforms from a robot to an (unarticulated) articulated truck, with an air-powered missile launcher that can be used in both modes.
This mold was also used to make Robots in Disguise Destructicon Scourge.
