Night is an Autobot Micromaster from the Return of Convoy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Hi there, buddy! I'm a ninja! ... oops.

Night (ナイト, na-i-to) is a member of the Liner Team, six locomotive Micromasters who can combine to form Sixliner. The Liner Team fight alongside Star Convoy, Grandus and Sky Garry to protect the universe from the forces of the mighty Dark Nova.

In an alternate-timeline/universe, Night is a self-proclaimed ninja warrior. This tough guy takes pride in his skill at operating in the dark, and since he can actually function for long stretches in it, he's not just tooting his own whistle. He also wields the all-purpose machine "Winguard," which lets him go into action on land, sea and the air. Though Night's additional ability to manipulate darkness is certainly a boon to him, the fact this self-styled ninja is rather chatty tends to ruin his mystique.

Toys

Return of Convoy

  • Sixliner (1991)
    • Japanese ID number:
Originally released in a giftset with his fellow Micromaster trains, Night transforms into an EF66 "Blue Train". His rear hitch allows him to connect end-to-end with his teammates Alan, Joe, and Spark. He forms the left leg of Sixliner.

Micromaster Collection

  • Night (2002)
    • Accessories:
Night and his teammates were re-released in Japan in 2002, this time sold in identical individual boxes. Night was #X in the set, identifiable only by the number on his instruction sheet visible through a small hole in the box. Like the rest of the Micromaster Collection figures, Night's stickers were either replaced with tampographs or dropped entirely.
