- A hero summoning a tornado to slow down the enemy's gigantic slowly-approaching spaceship also happened in "Nemesis (part 1)".
- At the very end, Optimus Prime is shown wearing the Autobot Matrix of Leadership on a chain around his neck. (Exactly what the Matrix is supposed to represent in Animated continuity is unclear, as nothing of the sort had ever been mentioned before).
