Skids (ROTF)

Skids is an Autobot from the Revenge of the Fallen franchise in the live-action film continuity family.

Look, it's that robot child actor that grew up and robbed a convenience store.

Skids is kind of a dopey-lookin' guy. He spends his time arguing with his twin, Mudflap, and trying to get attention. He's under the delusion he's the more mature and intelligent one of the two. He transforms into a Chevrolet Beat now, but never stays in one alternate mode for long!

With Mudflap, he can combine into a single, more durable alternate mode.

Fiction

IDW Transformers (2007) comics continuity

Skids is the one in front.

Skids used to spar with his fellow Autobot Camshaft. He wasn't very good at it, but he was still better than Payload- or Dreadwing-type drones. The Reign of Starscream issue 3 Sometime later, Skids and Mudflap arrived on Earth as part of Autobot reinforcements that Optimus Prime requested. They both choose the form of an old, beat-up ice cream truck. The newly-arrived Autobots joined the human-Transformer military alliance N.E.S.T. and began training in earnest on Diego Garcia, but soon had to be deployed to Shanghai, China. Alliance issue 4

Fast Action Battlers Missile Blast Skids is quite similar in transformation engineering to Plasma Punch/Plasma Blast Bumblebee, and even has a similar gimmick in having one arm being a spring-loaded projectile launcher.
