The game card is at G1 Skids's page because it has G1 Skids's weapons. It was also part of the expansion which featured characters other than movie characters. Against Devastator

So the twins have this big fight against Devastator, and they're kicking his ass, and then it cuts to something else, and when it cuts back Devastator's heading towards the pyramid and we never see them again. Have any of the myriad tie-ins or novelizations or what-not made any mention of what happened to them, or should I just go on (happily) assuming they got eaten off-screen? -- Dark T Zeratul

Skids (movie)

With the similar discussions with Sideswipe and Shockwave, what about this guy? The only thing keeping the pages separate is Chris Mowry's comment, and I took that as meaning he was unaware there was going to be a Skids in RotF when he wrote the line. That amounts to Movie Skids' one and only fictional reference, and it's something not remotely out of the character with the ROTF one. - Cattleprod 18:11, 22 October 2010 (EDT)

Bringing this back up with an actual proposal. We should merge these two (resultant page to reside at Skids (Movie)). Here is the sum total of Mowry's comments: "I had no idea Skids was in the movie. Probably the only ones I knew about when writing the books were obviously the survivors of the first movie, Soundwave, Devastator, and Arcee. Arcee was supposed to die on Mars and had to be rewritten after I found that out. But I had remembered one of the Autobots (I'm not the most knowledgeable about the characters btw) being relatively harmless. I whipped out the old MTMTE books and found Skids." At no time does he state that they aren't the same, only that he was unaware of the ROTF character when he wrote ROS. If he pulled the character from the MTMTE books, I'd say Skids (Movie) would have to be a Skids (G1) homage. Skids (ROTF) is an original, non-homage character. - Starfield 20:11, 3 May 2013 (EDT)

Yea, for better or worse, I guess that is how the wiki treats movie characters. Having the same name goes a long way. With the proper notation we can let the reader know that the author of Reign of Starscream did not have the green doofus in mind when he threw in a MTMTE-inspired cameo.
