- Steamhammer is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Steamhammer hates war, and even though he stayed on Earth after the Unicron battles to live a peaceful life, he still finds himself in the thick of combat. Now he and his Air Defense Team allies defend their new home from the Decepticons. Despite his distaste for battle, he is a highly effective warrior, and a very careful one too, working hard to minimize the damage and loss it causes. He doesn't like fighting, but he'll keep at it simply to help reduce the destruction war brings.
He has a heated rivalry with the Decepticon-allied Mini-Con Razorclaw, who delights in the havoc of battle and the despair of the innocent.

- Steamhammer and Razorclaw were also made available as part of a special Target stores exclusive "bonus pack" with the Voyager-class toy Evac.
- This mold was also used to make Armada Broadside.
