He's described as "crab-like" in the novelization, and if it is Ravage that picks him up (as indicated on his page, despite being a continuity error), that'd match up with their symbiotic relationship. His red color can be explained as a side effect of his alt-mode at the time; once he became a microscope, he lost it. --Martonimos 19:51, 5 July 2009 (EDT)

: No.  The novel says he looks just like a crab.  A NEST guy picks him up and tosses him out, thinking he's a real crab.  Furthermore, Ravage also coughs up Reedman, who also isn't Scalpel.  Ravage can carry around more than two guys.  --ItsWalky 20:29, 5 July 2009 (EDT)

Revision as of 01:03, 6 July 2009

The novel mentions that in robot form, the crab spy has a strong resemblance to Frenzy, but it's red. Can we mention somewhere that it's probably the movie equivalent of Rumble?KrytenKoro 05:13, 23 June 2009 (EDT)

Well, let's not forget that Movie Frenzy has had both a blue figure and a red figure. --Sabrblade 17:33, 2 July 2009 (EDT)

Scalpel

I think the "crab spy" is supposed to be Scalpel.
