A key component in their ascension as a species to their hyper-dimensional state was the Timaeus Project, which not only began the initial forays into what would become the Timaeus drive dimensional locomotion system, but also began to isolate and refine the first Alternium.
Alternity
The Alternity serve as protectors to the residents of lower-dimensional universes, working to oppose the predations of the "Beast of Time," the creature known as Hytherion. When the creature arrived in universal stream Primax 109.0 Beta, the Optimus Prime of that world joined the Alternity.
